Summary of the Job
Commercial Manager is expected to have gained relevant knowledge in various and critical functions of contract negotiation, risk management, project management, financial management, employee management, and marketing management.
Deals regarding contract and negotiation projects involved techniques and commercial awareness that need to be executed effectively to achieve favorable results and proper risk management. When it comes to planning and making decisions that involve project and commercial management, Commercial Manager should be aware of principles surrounding commercial risk management. The proper execution of such management will serve as a manifestation of their capabilities in leading the organization toward the real context of commercial management in the industry from which the organization belongs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support and review the development of quotations, proposals and tenders.
• Manage and coordinate correspondences with clients
• Review contract terms and conditions and negotiate contracts
• Acquire and maintain a reasonable understanding of government contracting policies and procedures.
• Study the profit and loss of specific activity within the organization
• Develop and manage a department budget.
• Use the strategic business development plan as a roadmap, develop and manage the execution of business plans
• Obtain and maintain a situation awareness of the company
• Perform commercial and financial analysis (Excel skills and basic financial background) which helps in doing contracts’ feasibility studies
• Efficiently and professionally understand and interpret a tender
• Propose, agree and offer the most appropriate commercial and technical offer for large project enquiries to maximize the company’s opportunity to secure the project.
• Liaise with technical specialists to select appropriate products according to tender requirements.
• Extract all details needed to generate a quotation.
• Investigate, track and manage projects for selected customers.
• Understand, interpret and communicate technical and commercial concepts in a way appropriate to each customer type. 
• Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of business trends and competition.
• Periodic reporting on the progress and status of the different activities of the company.
• Supply the sufficient data and information to the Management when needed within the decision making process.
