Summary of the Job
Being at the top of management and executive position in a firm, a Deputy General Manager works for charting the blueprint of policies and implements them for the improvement of the firm. He acts as a head of the firm scrutinizing, assessing and monitoring various departments. The heads of all departments are answerable to him and he is answerable to the customers, board of directors about the firm’s performance.
As a head executive he ensures that the work culture and working environment in the office/firm is conducive to promote positive work environment. Since he is the representative of the firm’s ideologies and mission statement, he regulates, modifies and implements changes that are aimed to boost employee efficiency and garner profits to the firm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
– Sets business goals and assigns targets to the employees and makes sure that the employees are providing productive results for the company
– Ensuring that the business is run in compliance with the Companies’ vision and mission
– Briefing staff on all relevant aspects of the Company business.
– Determining the Company Policies with regard to Quality, Health & Safety and the Environment and ensuring that these are communicated and understood.
– Undertaking the role of Management System Representative ensuring that the Management Systems implemented reviewed, maintained, and where possible continually improved.
– Evaluating contracts and determining needs and requirements to carry out works.
– brings new and innovative ideas to the business and looks for opportunities to expand and create a goodwill in the market
– Network with other potential clients and competitors in the market and get business tactics and ideas from them
– Develop strategies to boost sales and profits of the company and plan the future prospects of the company
– Creating a positive and motivating atmosphere in the company and providing better growth opportunities for the employees
– Encourages innovative ideas from the employees and implement them for the benefit of the company
– Plans attractive strategies to retain skilled, hardworking and fruitful employees making sure that they are satisfied with the company
